Progressive Bytes ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Checkomat mobile application (the "Service").

If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for "processing" your data (which occurs only locally on your device) is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (providing the checklist functionality you requested).

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not collect any personal information.

Checkomat is designed to work entirely on your device without requiring any personal data collection. Your checklists, habits, and tasks are yours alone.

Data Stored Locally:

• Checklist Data: All checklists, items, and related data you create are stored locally on your device.
• App Preferences: Settings and preferences are stored locally on your device.
• No Cloud Storage: Your data is never uploaded to our servers or any cloud services.

DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do not share, sell, or analyse your data.

Because all data remains on your device and we don't collect personal information, no data is shared with third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers.

DATA SECURITY & RETENTION

Your checklist data is stored securely on your device using standard iOS/iPadOS security measures. Data remains on your device until you delete the app or manually remove the content.

YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, and erasure. Since we do not have access to your data, you exercise these rights directly:

• Right to Access/Portability: You can view all your data within the app.
• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete individual items or the entire app to wipe all data permanently.
• Right to Object: You can stop all data processing by simply closing or deleting the app.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Checkomat does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics, or crash reporting tools that collect personal information. We do not display advertisements.
